This Privacy Policy outlines how we handle and protect user data while you use the Bizmatic add-on for Google Sheets™. We are committed to maintaining your privacy and ensuring your data is handled with transparency, security, and care.

1. What Information We Collect

Bizmatic only accesses the minimum necessary data required to perform its core functionality inside Google Sheets™. We do not collect, store, or share any personal or sensitive user information by default.

However, in the following cases, we may collect information you voluntarily provide:

  • Your email address when you reach out for support
  • Your name or organization name if you provide it in a feedback or contact form
  • Anonymous and aggregated usage logs to improve app performance and stability

We do not collect any financial, health, or sensitive personal data. The data you work with in your spreadsheet remains private to you.

2. How and Where We Store Data

Most data accessed by Bizmatic remains entirely within your Google Sheets™, Google Drive™, and your Google Account. We do not host or store your spreadsheet content on our own servers.

If any external server is used (e.g., for optional features or error logging), it will follow industry-standard security protocols, such as HTTPS and authentication. Such communication only occurs if:

  • You explicitly enable a feature that requires it
  • You give permission via OAuth authorization

3. How We Protect Your Data

Bizmatic uses secure communication (HTTPS) and Google’s official OAuth 2.0 protocol to access your data. Access is limited to the exact scopes required for functionality.

We never sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. Internal access to any collected data is limited to authorized personnel only and handled with best security practices.

If a data breach or vulnerability is detected, we will notify affected users immediately and take appropriate corrective actions.

4. Use of Google Workspace APIs

Bizmatic uses Google Workspace APIs such as Google Sheets API, Drive API, and Apps Script services to perform its tasks. These APIs are used to:

  • Read and write spreadsheet data based on your commands
  • Display sidebars, dialogs, or menus in the Sheets UI
  • Trigger automation such as sending WhatsApp™ messages

We fully comply with Google’s API Services User Data Policy and the Limited Use requirements. Your data will never be used for advertising or profiling.

5. User Consent

By installing and using the Bizmatic add-on, you consent to this Privacy Policy. You can revoke access anytime via your Google Account’s App Permissions page.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain only the minimal information needed for service delivery. Any collected data (e.g., email for support) can be deleted upon request by contacting us. We do not retain spreadsheet data.

7. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via our website or within the add-on interface.
